Title:                Structural Engineer

Job Site:          Princeton, NJ

Duties:

• Perform comprehensive structural engineering analysis and design with structural assessments and evaluation of existing structures.
• Calculate the load and grade requirements or material stress factors to determine design specifications.
• Provide technical advice or management regarding design, construction, or structural repairs.
• Create graphical representations of structures and recommend technical design or process changes to improve efficiency, quality or performance.
• Perform calculations for building gravity and lateral structural systems in accordance with local building codes.
• Create detailed structural drawings, models, and reports using industry-standard software.
• Review tests such as soil, material, strength of foundations, concrete or steel.
• Collaborate with other engineers, architects, and construction professionals to develop innovative and cost-effective structural solutions.

Requirements:

• Master of Science degree in Civil Engineering.
• One year of experience in designing and analyzing various structures, and performing structural inspections and creating reports.
• Proficiency in lateral and gravity design of steel and concrete structures.
• Proficiency in using Auto CAD, Risa, SAP2000, STAAD.
• E. License required.
