State-owned hotel chain in Spain to convert all hotels to sustainable energy

Starting in 2019, Paradores, Spain’s state-owned chain comprising over 97 hotels made up of ancient castles and monasteries, will only use renewable sources of energy. The deal, signed with the Spanish utility giant Endesa, ensures that all electricity used in the grand “paradores” will come from green sources.
