City of New York: Architectural & Engineering Design Requirements Contracts

For over a decade, Gedeon GRC Consulting has been providing engineering design services for various requirements/task order contracts throughout the five (5) boroughs of New York City as both a Prime consultant and a Subconsultant.

These contracts cover various infrastructure projects and the design and construction of new or major building renovations. This includes but not limited to: streets; roadways; bridges; retaining walls/bulkheads; sewers; water mains; stormwater management; bio swales/green infrastructure design; traffic studies and analyses; data collection; grading; drainage design; catch basins; pedestrian plazas; streetscape design, including sidewalks; curbs and ramps; street lighting; street hardware;  benches, landscape design; fire hydrants; utilities relocation; Maintenance and Protection of Traffic (MPT); traffic signals; pavement design; permitting; and extensive vault program studies involving in-depth investigation and inventory; exterior facades, interior restoration, and landscaping, with sustainability and resiliency goals in mind for  community, health, libraries, sanitation, transportation, cultural, and parks facilities; structural interior and exterior renovations; seismic upgrades; ADA compliance; historic preservation; stormwater management; sustainable and resiliency design; envision design; grading and drainage; landscape design; and utilities relocation.

In addition, the scope of work also entailed community outreach and coordination with various agencies such as NYCDOT, NYCDOB, NYCDEP, FEMA, LPC, NYSDOT, NYCDPR, and MTA Bus and Transit, as well as utilities companies, including electrical, cable, gas, and phones.
