Only a few US cities meet their climate goals according to ACEEE

 

Although US cities took on more than 265 initiatives between 2017 and April 201, the majority of them are not on track to meet their climate goals, according to the latest scorecard from the American Council for an Energy-Efficient Economy (ACEEE).  The scorecard ranks cities on more than 50 metrics, and the results show that many cities do not even track their progress. Boston is leading the way, while Cincinnati, Hartford, and Providence are Cities to Watch, which stand out for adopting several major clean energy policies and programs since early 2017.
