Gedeon GRC Consulting welcomes Zhongchao (Jen) Chen, PE, joining the team in our Syosset office as Senior Structural Engineer.

Jen is a New York State licensed Professional Engineer with a comprehensive knowledge of construction materials, building and engineering codes, cost control measures, and special inspection of buildings. She has been working throughout the New York City Metro area for almost 20 years, and her experience spans building renovation, building conversion, and new residential and commercial developments. Before joining our company, Jen was Lead Inspector at the LaGuardia Airport Redevelopment Project, in Queens, and Project Manager for a 10-story, 25,000 SF landmark building renovation in the Flatiron District, Manhattan.

Jen’s experience in designing and executing extensive projects, positively makes her a great addition to Gedeon GRC’s Structural Engineering Department.

She holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Machine Building Technology and Equipment from Southeast University (China), and a Master of Engineering in Mechanical Process from Nanjing University of Chemical Technology (China).
