Gedeon GRC Consulting is pleased to welcome Bruce R. Mawhirter to our firm. Bruce joins our headquarters as Vice President of Civil Engineering.

With over 30 years of experience in design and construction, he has worked on a range of public and private engineering projects throughout the Tri-State area, including, but not limited to New York State and City Departments of Transportation, New York City Department of Design and Construction, Metropolitan Transportation Authority, Port Authority of New York & New Jersey, New York State Office of General Services, New York City School Construction Authority, Nassau and Suffolk County DPWs, municipalities on Long Island, and various other state and local agencies.

His experience includes roadway, streetscape, and parking lot design; utility and infrastructure improvements; as well as residential, commercial, industrial, and recreational site development.

Bruce is a New York licensed Professional Engineer and holds a B.E. in Civil Engineering from Hofstra University. He is also a LEED Accredited Professional.
