Since 2017, Gedeon GRC has been committed to investing in advanced drone technologies to improve safety and inspection data quality, as well as reduce project timeliness and cost. As an early pioneer in the industry, we are uniquely positioned to share what we’ve learned over the years with firms and industry professionals looking to better understand how to leverage state of the art hardware and software tools. Our Robotics Department is often sought out to speak on panels and present at conferences, such as the Subcontractor's Trade Association and NY & NJ Offshore Wind Supplier Forum this past year.
At the first conference, held in September 2024, industry leaders, innovators, technology providers and construction contractors from across the building trades gathered to explore the future of technology construction at the Subcontractors Trade Association Tech Expo in Brooklyn, NY.
We were honored to be a bronze sponsor and our Director of Robotics, Miles Kilcourse, provided valuable insights on the “Next Generation of Reality Capture” panel. Participants had the opportunity to learn about the latest advancements in reality capture technology, and how firms like ours use advanced technologies like drones, ROVs, and software tools to collect physical data and create accurate 3D models and representations for our engineering teams.
In October 2004, we were selected to present and exhibit in Atlantic City, NJ at the NY & NJ Offshore Wind Supplier Forum, and the American Clean Power Association (ACP) Offshore Exhibition and Conference. Mr. Kilcourse shared insights into our Robotics / Drone capabilities and the value we can bring to developers and other suppliers in the offshore wind industry. At our booth, we showcased our cutting-edge technologies from Voliro, Flyability, Deep Trekker Inc., and Skydio, among others.
Gedeon GRC Consulting's thought leadership has been recognized not only by our clients, but by government agencies, offering our expertise to help define new standards for inspection, asset management, and maintenance programs. We welcome each opportunity to share our experience and look forward to continuing to innovate wherever possible.
